  • Mobile connectivity in Leh Ladakh?

While in Leh, one can use Airtel, BSNL and Jio ; however, only post-paid connections works in this region. In case, you are moving away from the Leh city, you can only rely on BSNL and Jio post-paid for communication. Electricity can be an issue while in Ladakh. Try to keep your gadgets and devices charged or charge them whenever you have access to electricity.

  • What would be minimum time frame for an ideal Ladakh tour? 

Minimum 5 nights and can be extend up to month or you can even spent whole summer in Leh.

  • Is a road trip possible to Ladakh? 

Yes! You can but Leh is inaccessible from November to April due to harsh weather and/or road closures. The right time to head by road is between May and October

Almost the entire of Ladakh Valley is dotted with travel agencies that offers bike or car rental services. Also, till one has a valid Driving License and comes under the jurisdiction to ride or drive in India, he/she can hire a bike or car while on a Ladakh tour.

  • Can I rent a car in Leh-Ladakh?

There is no option to rent a self-drive car in Leh Ladakh. You can, of course, rent a local taxi in Leh and ask the driver to let you drive in some sections in case he agrees.

  • Can we go to Ladakh by zoom car?

You can use the outside rented self-drive cars to reach Leh. However, these self-drive rented cars outside Leh Ladakh are not allowed to do any sightseeing within Ladakh including places like Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso, and TsoMoriri.

  • Can I get a self-drive car in Leh Ladakh?

No, there is no option to get a self-drive rental car in Leh Ladakh. You will have to rent a local taxi in Leh to do sightseeing within Ladakh.

  •  Is ATMs available in Leh?

While in Leh, you can find almost all the ATMs of all major Banks but Nubra, Pangong and another place we advise you to carry cash along , there hardly any ATMs.
